Recognition is everything - and nothing. Right?
Hi Reader, Leadership is work. Hard work. It always has been. So, it’s fitting that this year’s Black History Month theme is African Americans and Labor - honoring Black leaders (and all workers) who fought for more than better wages. They fought for recognition - not for status, but because their contributions mattered. Today, we still seek recognition - not for ego (at least, I hope not!) but to make a greater impact.
